Nancy Pelosi was captured on video at a fundraiser in Napa Valley raising money for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. None of the guests appear to be wearing masks. The Twitterverse – including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy – was quick to point out the hypocrisy.
“Speaker Pelosi wants to lock you down again while she wines and dines with her political donors. It’s utter hypocrisy,” the congressman Tweeted.
More than a few people shared the same feelings.
Napa County has a “high” level of coronavirus transmission according to the CDC. But folks just can’t resist those $29,000 a seat breakfast fundraisers.
