LET THEM EAT SOY! Fed Reserve Bank Urges Americans Who Can’t Afford Turkey to Eat Soy this Thanksgiving

The St. Louis Federal Reserve urged Americans unable to afford Turkey this Thanksgiving to eat soy-based foods instead, saying they cost less and offer “twice as much protein.”

“From the FRED Blog: A Thanksgiving dinner serving of poultry costs $1.42. A soybean-based dinner serving with the same amount of calories costs 66 cents and provides almost twice as much protein,” posted the bank on Twitter.
