By The FirstWhile recording a special episode of his podcast The Verdict at Yale University, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) was asked about his recent line of questioning during the Ketanji Brown Jackson Senate confirmation hearings. One student said Cruz didn’t offer a “respectful and dignified” hearing for Jackson. Cruz says the media is hypocritical.
“Everyone who was harrumphing in the media that if you oppose an African-American woman who is a qualified judge, then you’re a racist —precisely zero of them thought it was racist for Democrats, including Joe Biden, to filibuster Janice Rogers Brown.”
