By The FirstFans rejected the latest installment in the Toy Story franchise over the weekend after the film generated worldwide controversy for a same-sex kiss.
The film earned just $51 million during its opening weekend, down from estimates the movie would make between $70 and 90 million.
For comparison, Tom Cruise’s epic military film ‘Top Gun 2’ generated $160 million over Memorial Day Weekend.
