By The FirstThe Biden administration has been caught in another lie.
This week White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre claimed the administration was simply following a court order by lifting the Trump-era Title 42 this month–but President Biden’s own words from back in April contradict her.

“That is a court order that is telling us to lift Title 42 and we’re going to comply because we follow the rule of law,” Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters on Monday.
“But the administration sought to lift it,” pushed Fox News’ Jacqui Heinrich.
“But it is a court order,” responded Jean-Pierre.
Despite KJP playing coy on the topic, President Biden acknowledged back in April of this year that his administration sought to eliminate Title 42.
“I can give you a straight answer, we had proposed to eliminate that policy by the end of May,” Biden told reporters. “The court has said we can’t so far.”
Title 42 was set to expire on December 21st, but the Supreme Court has temporarily blocked the policy from being lifted.
