BACK TO WORK: Texas Gov Calls Special Session to Make Dems Vote on Election Bill

Governor Greg Abbott has had enough of Texas Democrats wasting time and taxpayer money. Abbott has issued a proclamation calling for “an extraordinary session” to come together in Austin, Texas, beginning on Saturday.

According to The Daily Wire, “The proclamation noted that the session is being held in order to consider and act upon various measures, including legislation ‘strengthening the integrity of elections in Texas.; The proclamation also commented on legislation regarding the return of children to classrooms during the ongoing pandemic.”

Voting on the election bill was obstructed by Democrats in the Texas legislature when they decided to skip town, fly to Washington D.C., spread COVID at the Capitol, then ask for snacks.
